Today I can confirm that the GMB has today met with Rolls-Royce and have agreed to sign up to the Dying to Work Campaign.
The Dying to Work Campaign would like to see terminally illness recognised as a protected characteristic, so that an employee with a terminal illness would enjoy a protected period where they could not be dismissed as a result of their condition.
We would like to thank all those involved in the Branch and GMB for getting this signed by Rolls-Royce.
